About this study
COPD is a progressive lung condition that makes it harder to breathe over time. It includes conditions such as emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Studies at our Orlando research center evaluate investigational therapies aimed at improving breathing and reducing exacerbations.
Who may qualify
- Adults with a physician-diagnosed history of COPD
- Current or former smoker (study-specific)
- Meeting lung-function criteria at screening
- Willing to attend Orlando study visits
Final eligibility is determined during prescreening and the in-person screening visit. Enrollment in any specific study is never guaranteed.
What to expect
- Prescreening review of COPD history
- Screening visit with spirometry (lung function) and labs
- Study visits at defined intervals per the protocol
- Follow-up assessments for symptoms and safety
