About this study
Polymyositis and dermatomyositis are rare inflammatory conditions affecting muscles and, in some cases, skin. They can cause muscle weakness, fatigue and, in dermatomyositis, distinctive skin changes. Our research team participates in studies evaluating investigational therapies for these conditions.
Who may qualify
- Adults with a confirmed diagnosis of polymyositis or dermatomyositis
- Experiencing muscle weakness or related symptoms
- Meeting protocol-specific medication and health criteria
- Able to travel to the Orlando research center
Final eligibility is determined during prescreening and the in-person screening visit. Enrollment in any specific study is never guaranteed.
What to expect
